Back and forth...

Well, the Israeli's have really put their foot in it this time...

Apparent deliberate destruction of a UN outpost. And subsequent shelling of the rescuers trying to dig through the rubble.

I'm thinking the Israeli army needs to be reined in a bit. I certainly can't support this. Maybe I'm a pacifist. I dunno. All I know is, no matter what side is killing people, I hate it.

Hate it. Hate it. Hate it.

Boo,

Read your earlier post about Canadians complaining about the 3'rd class accomodations on their rescue from Lebanon. Very well written.
I guess that phenomena of human nature is pretty much widespread. I just heard that there are about 20 families getting together to sue the US government for "not rescuing the fast enough."
Unbelievable.

You're being mislead and manipulated Boo. I understand your confusion especially at a time where clarity is most needed.

There is right and wrong to be weighted here and your "hate" is misplaced.

The reports I've seen all indicate the Israeli bombing of the UN using a ''precision guided bomb' was indeed intentional.

Israel has been aware of this permanent UN post, an agreed designated, "UN territory", for many years.

Mike: you keep ignoring the facts I've given you - you focus on the propaganda. I think you need to spread your sources a little wider.

Pete: thank you, I kind of expected you to tell me that... I'll be folowing your blog for more 'insight'.

Mike, five words sum up your slant: you are a Malkin worshipper.

DJEB: I suppose I could Google that - but it's easier to just say huh??

Michell Malkin - frothing crappot extraordinaire. See my buddy DUCK's summary of her.

I guess it's clear you folks will do anything to avoid any accountability for enabling the tragic events which are currently unfolding in Lebanon.

It's very sad, but I cannot conclude other wise.

And Boo... "you keep ignoring the facts I've given you"

That's good for a laugh. When you are as well informed as I let's talk.

Mike,

When I said "you ignore the facts", I meant that each time I ask you a specific question about an event/issue, you do not respond to it.

I've asked you "why" many times about many things and you never give me a direct answer...

Boo... I spent more time researching and responding to every one of your lengthy comments than I normally do. In addition, I posted specific information regarding the issues you raised.

None of this seemed to register with you.

And now, I see that one of your commenters makes the dismissive accusation that I am a Malkanette.

Had he/she or it bothered to read my blog he/she or it would have realized that Malkin is one of the least referenced sources for my information.

I can only conclude that my efforts to reach out to someone claiming a desire to see both sides was a waste of time. And I will listen more in future to the commenter "kev" who first suggested this was so.

We are reliving the 1930's once again, and you and yours will once again delude themselves and place all of us at risk.

That's sad Boo... and the fault lies with you.

Sorry Mike... but I've seen all I need to see.

Call it propaganda all you want, but a dead child is a dead child. And hundreds of them is an atrocity.

I don't like Muslim extremists any more than you do - but there's other ways to do this. Only a fraction of Muslims are terrorists/extremists, yet, by supporting so many civilian deaths, you'd have us label all of them that way.

You might think I'm being mislead, but perhaps its your attitude that's at fault.

"I can only conclude that my efforts to reach out to someone claiming a desire to see both sides was a waste of time."

I did want to see both sides, and you helped me see them - its my decision to not buy into your beliefs.

And if there's any fault here - well, one of my fingers is pointing at the white house.
